How much will I be paid for taking part?

You will be paid £5-£15 for returning your home questionnaire pack, depending on what aspects of the pack you decide to complete. If you attend a clinic day, you may receive up to £150 depending on which tasks you complete.

Will I get paid more if I do well on the tasks?

Everyone gets paid a flat rate for completing the tasks on the clinic day. A few of the tasks involve risk-taking so the final amount that you earn will be partially dependent on performance and luck. Full information and instructions about these tasks will be given on the day.

How will I be paid?

The Cambridge sites will usually make payments by cheque, and the London sites will usually make payments by electronic bank transfer. If you attend a clinic day, you may also receive a small amount of your payment by Amazon e-voucher. If these options do not work for you, please contact us to discuss alternatives.

When will I be paid?

We will process payments as quickly as possible; you should receive your payment within three weeks of returning your questionnaire or attending clinic.

Will my parents be paid anything?

Your parents will not be paid anything but we will refund any travel costs if they bring you into clinic. If they need to stay at the clinic all day, we will provide lunch and refreshments for them.

My cheque/voucher hasn’t arrived; what should I do?

If you have been waiting for your cheque for more than four weeks, or your e-voucher for more than two weeks, it may have got lost or been sent to the wrong address. Please contact us so we can look into it and get your payment to you as soon as possible.

Will you refund my expenses?

Yes, any reasonable expenses for travel will be refunded. Please bring in any receipts or tickets you’d like us to refund. We will also give you £5 towards the cost of your lunch.
